I get that your system works by integrating with other online accounts (One Drive, Dropbox, Google Drive etc), but I prefer to have an online account with each provider rather than have this grey area where one provider has access to another provider's account. I play my music on my phone when on the go, but play it through my laptop when working. An equivalent app that I could on my desktop (MacBook). Please could I suggest you roll out a feature where you can restrict the way the app scans for files.Īlso, I was hoping for some other things – It's now stuck scanning my enormous Google Drive – I'm aware of the other comments and advice about this. But alas, I doesn't, so I'm already a little disappointed. I was hoping CloudPlayer would have a feature where the app only scans a specific folder and not my whole Google Drive. So to test CloudPlayer, I moved a few tracks into a folder called 'test-music'. The files are scattered across hundreds, if not thousands, of folders (I know, I know, I need to sort it out). Like everyone else, I don't want to have to re-buy all that music that I've bought over the years and uploaded. I want a way to play all the music stored there and I'm hopeful that DoubleTwist can solve this issue for me. It's made me revisit the issue of my big music library stored in the my Google Drive. I don't want to have to switch to YouTube Music. I've just signed up for DoubleTwist's CloudPlayer today, after learning that Google is killing Google Play Music. such a WANKER.I totally second what has been said above – especially Daniel Astudillo's comment. you should tell people up front it does not support photo from tel to computer. but if you buy it it will work and does everything and more then it says it willīefore you buy from this dev. it never crashes on me at least running my mac. just forgot to say that before people buy it from the market place. but it doesn’t do it with this version that is out now.
"Wirelessly sync your iTunes playlists, photos and videos with your Android phone using your home Wi-Fi network." Here is the thing on the frontpage of the website it says this OH that is being tested now and will be out in the next version. I read on the support forum that someone asked. Just thought anyone else who is stupid enough to buy this thinking that it will sync your photo from your android. Now I'll see if MacUpdate actually takes my post since the last 4 recent ones are no longer showing up. I would suggest anything buying anything the uses the GS web system to think twice, even if the app has good ratings outside of its own site (and DT does not). This dev team is quickly becoming as notorious as others using GetSatisfaction forums for support, where users are tossed into a sea of others to often fend for themselves. So if we want a few of the new features in that, we end up paying for AirSync, etc.
And yet there's little to no upgrade option for those of us who already paid for the Airsync or other add ons now included in DT Pro.
I won't reiterate its limitations and misleads, as others herein have already done so.ĭevelopment has moved over to DT for Android, and now has pushed on to DTA Pro for a price.
It still has many of its major past problems and limitations, though I haven't seen the crashes and locks that others report. All developement on the desktop app has been at a dead stop for a long time.
